Where it all began

Buoninfante Group is an Italian mattress manufacturer headquartered in Battipaglia, Salerno. Founded in 1975, the company has grown into one of Italy's leading sleep system manufacturers — combining industrial scale with relentless attention to quality and innovation.
Every X-BIO system is designed, engineered and produced entirely in Italy — with certified supply chains, proprietary production processes and quality standards that have been refined over half a century.

Innovation is at the core of everything we do. We invest continuously in research and development — in materials, processes and proprietary technologies. X-BIO is our most ambitious project: a patented sleep system that actively manages body temperature, humidity and posture throughout the night.
The X-BIO patent is recognised in Italy, the European Union, Japan and Russia — and is currently in the process of being recognised in the USA, China, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and South Korea. The design is registered in Hong Kong, EU, USA, Japan, Singapore, China, Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia and Indonesia.

At Milan Design Week 2025, X-BIOpresented X-ReM —
an immersive installation that brought the science of sleep to life. Visitors experienced the technology first hand, guided through the relationship between thermoregulation, sleep cycles and physical recovery.
